Saturday scribbles

'Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf.'

Proverbs 11:28

---------------------

Listen to these words:

"No matter what journey you're on, God does not just go with you, He goes before you and behind you."

I don't know about you, but that truly comforts me. A year ago, I would have not been able to say that. There were many times in the past year that I so needed to know that I was not in control. And that in itslef, is very unlike me. Just ask my husband. I feel the need for control. I enjoy it. But I have learned and come to realize, that situations turn out so much better if I let Him take the wheel. For if I was driving this thing called life.......well let's just say, it would not always be pretty!

----------------------

Today will be a fairly busy day for the team. My husband is working a few hours this morning. Oh did I tell you my husband was offered the job he has been interviewing with for the last few weeks? Well, it's true and we couldn't be happier! We get our husband/Daddy home every weeknight, Saturday, Sunday and holidays! No more crazy shifts, overnights and talons in my husband's back(inside joke). You deserve this job honey, and I couldn't be prouder. Now go get 'em!

As I was saying, our day will be fairly busy. Madison has a surprise birthday party she will be going to this afternoon. My husband and the boys are taking a short road trip across the bay to look at a car to buy. Luke slept at a friend's house and his going to his friend's basketball game this morning.

The weather. Yeah, it's cold. The high for today is 47 degrees. Now keep in mind we live near the coast in Alabama. Very rarely does the temperature dip that low. So it's cold to us. So much for global warming.

Stay warm, wherever you are! Have a great day!

Jess, needed to hear read that today. Thank you :)

Aaron's new job is a blessing. What a difference to have your DH at home.

Am I assuming that Mommy might have just a little time to herself today..? if so, relish and enjoy it! You certainly deserve it. Much love to the team.
