party like it's 1999

AAHHHhhhh. I am relaxing. Right next to one of my best boys, Micah. He is out like a light in our bed. I think he is actually snoring a bit. Cute. The rest of our brew are watching a movie in the living room with Daddy.

We went out to eat tonight to celebrate. Celebrate what, you ask. Why, today was my last day of work at an 8-5 desk job! And....it was the completion of a week of work for my husband at his new job. It's the end of an era for me, and the beginning of an era for my husband. So as you can see, we had a lot to celebrate!

We got caught in a horrible rain storm on our way home. It was the worst rain storm I have ever driven in.  And believe you me, I went to college in Seattle so I know rain storms. We couldn't even see the road lines because of how hard the rain was coming down. My husband was driving thankfully. He was raised in Indiana and that supposedly means he was born to drive in any weather conditions. He is a pro. Because he is from Indiana mind you. I know what you are thinking. I had my doubts at first as well. But after driving at his side for close to three years now, he has proven himself over and over again. We have driven in wind, rain, snow, extreme humidity, rocky hills, and sloping..well slopes. He is the best all-terrain driver I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. And marrying,

I am off to join my husband in partying like it's 1999! See you later.
